- New in DeltaTime 1.1.0 5/15/93
-
- ...DeltaTime now remembers where you last placed each window type
- between sessions.
- ...The user can now select which mode DeltaTime sould come up in
- the next time it is launched.
- ...Pressing a TAB while editing text fields will finish the
- current box and activate the next box in a series.
- ...Month name vs. Month number cross-reference.
- ( I added this one for myself, I can never remember if month 6 is
- June or July. By the way if many of you like this kind of feature
- and/or would prefer working with numbers rather than names for
- months please let me know. I could make that a user preference
- selection fairly easily....maybe in 1.2!!)
- ...The unites selection used in each session are now saved between
- sessions.
-
- Bugs fixed from 1.0.0
-
- ...DeltaTime will no longer crash when accdentally launched under
- system 6. HOWEVER IT IS STILL NOT SYSTEM 6 COMPATIBLE ,AND PROBABLY
- NEVER WILL BE!
-
- Note this was the only reproducable bug reported to me...if
- you have experianced other bugs PLEASE tell me about them
- so that I can fix them.. Actully I haven't recieved any
- reproduceable bug reports from any of my end users. This
- bug was found late in testing by one of my Beta testers...
-
- ...I did have one report of instability of systems running 7.1
- following running DeltaTime. I was un-able to re-produce
- this error on my system, but this clue caused me to
- track down a couple of arrays that had not been indexed
- quite right. This will probably fix any instability issues
- that anyone may have seen. Sorry if this has caused
- anyone any problems. Actually neither I, myself or any
- of my Beta testers have had any such problems, but
- I can't possibly test all set-ups.
- Tips...
- There is one potential problem area with DeltaTime 1.1.0 that wasn't
- present in 1.0.0. Since DeltaTime now saves a preference file there
- is aways a potential for some how getting a corrupted file. Well if you ever
- get an error message indicating that preferences will not be saved.
- Try throwing away the DeltaTime Preferences file located in your
- system preference folder. DeltaTime will re-create this file the
- next time you launch it.
-
- Future Enhancements:
- Well I have been considering adding the concept of holidays (i.e. user
- selectable none working days) to the delta calculations. This would
- involve adding some tool for user holiday selections. Basically
- you would have the ability to calculate working days between dates.
- If this idea appeals to you please send me a message on AOL (BRYANH12)
- or drop me a postcard or somthing... That also goes for any other enhancments
- you would like to see.
-
- I want to thank my 9 registered users that took the time to send
- me their checks!! Most of the suggestions I recieved for improvement
- have been incorporated in version 1.1.0. I really appreciate the
- two of you who took the time to write me a letter...
-
- Thanks for your support,
- Bryan C. Harding
